My journey as a clinical therapist began in 1997 in Miami, FL working with children and their families at a nonprofit organization. Since then I have held clinical positions working for Dade County in Miami, and as of 2006, Riverside County Department of Behavioral Health working with both children and adults.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Biology at the University of Puerto Rico and my Masters of Science Degree in Psychology at the Miami Institute of Psychology, now known as Carlos Albizu University.
I have training in various treatment modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Multidimensional Family Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Family Based Treatment for Eating Disorders.
Therapy is an investment in your life, relationships, health, wellbeing and future. I am humbled by clients who have invited me into their lives and trusted me to assist them in their journey toward more skillful behavior. I am fortunate to witness their strength and courage and collaborate in a deep process of discovery.
